Lumi Rental shareholders approve bylaw amendments expanding the company’s activities across transport, trade, and information and communications sectors
Shareholders of Lumi Rental Co. approved amendments to Article 4 of the company’s bylaws relating to its objectives at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Dec. 14, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The shareholders also approved a policy governing controls and standards for competitive business practices.
The amendments to Article 4 include the addition of several activities under wholesale and retail trade, as well as the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles. This is in addition to allowing for the retail sale of automotive fuel in specialized stores and activities related to private postal transport companies.
The changes further add activities to the transport and storage segment, including maritime and coastal passenger transport, land freight transport, and inland water passenger transport. In addition, a new business division covering information and communications activities was added to the company’s scope.
