US retail sales were largely unchanged in October on a monthly basis, signaling a slowdown in a key engine of US economic growth, US Department of Commerce data issued today, Dec. 16.
Retail sales in the US were stable in October compared to September, coming in at $732.6 billion. This total still represents a year-on-year (YoY) hike of nearly 3.5%.
