Almarai said it will continue to focus on enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing costs
Almarai Co. said the diesel price increase from Jan. 1 is predicted to result in additional direct costs of approximately SAR 70 million in 2026.
The company will also face an expected indirect impact from other parts of its supply chain, according to a Tadawul statement.
Almarai will continue to focus on enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing costs, and implementing various initiatives to mitigate the impact of the diesel price increase, the statement said.
According to Argaam data, Almarai announced last year that the increase in diesel prices effective Jan. 1, 2025, would result in direct additional costs of about SAR 200 million over the year.
