SMC opens outpatient clinic center in Riyadh

SMC’s new center houses 35 outpatient clinics across multiple specialties

Specialized Medical Co. (SMC) opened its new outpatient clinic center, SMC Clinics, on Prince Mohammad Bin Saad Bin Abdulaziz Road in Al Malqa district, Riyadh, according to a statement to Tadawul.

SMC Clinics will commence operations today, Jan. 19, the statement added.

Trials for operational requirements are complete and staff are in place for medical, nursing, technical, and administrative departments.

Operations will begin gradually, as required to accommodate the expected growth in patients.

The relevant financial impact is expected to appear in the company’s consolidated financial statements for H1 2026.

In October 2025, SMC signed a SAR 98.99 million lease, excluding VAT, with Asas Althbat Co. to rent its first outpatient clinic center in Riyadh, data available on Argaam showed.

The new center will comprise 35 outpatient clinics spanning various specialties, including dentistry, endocrinology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, and physiotherapy. It will also house an urgent care unit offering full emergency services, an external pharmacy, and parking facilities for about 100 vehicles.
