Saudi Ceramic Co. (Saudi Ceramics) stated that the direct financial impact from the recent price hikes in certain fuel products — including Arabian Light oil and industrial diesel used in its production processes — is expected to be limited and non-material to production costs or financial results.

In a statement on Tadawul today, Feb. 16, the company said this came following an assessment of the related financial impact recent of fuel price adjustments on output costs. It attributed the estimated impact to the Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program, which has helped mitigate the financial impact of higher Arabian Light oil prices and is expected to continue contributing through 2026.

In addition, the impact of industrial diesel price hike on production costs is limited and non-material, estimated at around 0.05%.

The company affirmed its commitment to implementing best practices and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and achieve sustainable growth, while continuing to execute plans aimed at reducing costs and improving operating efficiency in support of its strategic objectives. According to Argaam data, Saudi Ceramics received a notice from Saudi Aramco regarding adjustments to the prices of certain fuel products used in its operational activities, effective as of Jan. 1, 2026.
