The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, delivered a speech to the citizens and residents in the Kingdom, as well as all Muslims, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

“We wish to congratulate you on the advent of the blessed Ramadan, a month in which the gates of Paradise are opened and which contains a night better than a thousand months. We ask Allah Almighty to assist us in fasting, praying, and performing acts of worship, King Salman said.

“We praise Allah Almighty for bestowing upon our blessed country the honor of serving the two holy mosques and their visitors, including pilgrims and Umrah performers. We will continue, with Allah's help, on this steadfast path established by the leaders of this nation,” he added.
