Saudi Arabia’s non-oil Business Confidence Index declined 1.5% month-on-month in February 2026.

The index stood at 60.7 points in February, down from 61.6 points in January, according to data released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

GASTAT said the index still reflects prevailing optimism in the business sector, supported by companies’ confidence in the stability of economic activity in Saudi Arabia and continued growth across various sectors.

The authority defined the Business Confidence Index as an indicator of perceptions and expectations regarding future developments in the non-oil business sector, based on surveys covering output, inputs, employment, and business expansion or development.
