Foreign institutions offload SAR 457M in TASI stocks last week

Foreign institutions on TASI were net sellers of stocks worth SAR 457.1 million during the three sessions in the week ended March 16, truncated due to Eid Al-Fitr holiday, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.

 

Foreign institutions accounted for 46% of total sell trades, and 41% of total buy transactions on TASI.

 

Foreign individual investors, meanwhile, were net buyers of shares worth about SAR 378 million.

 

Purchase trades by foreign individual investors totaled nearly SAR 541.6 million, accounting for 5.8% of total turnover, compared to direct sales worth SAR 163.6 million.

 

Saudi corporate investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 234 million. Mutual funds and government entities were net buyers of SAR 241.1 million and SAR 513.2 million, respectively.
