National Signage Industrial Co. (Sign World) said that the Appellate Customs Committee issued its final decision in its favor, accepting the appeal submitted by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) in form, rejecting it in substance, and upholding the preliminary decision issued by the First Primary Customs Committee in Riyadh.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the previously assessed customs differences amounting to SAR 2.61 million, which will not be recorded as an expense or provision, will be cancelled, along with the recognition of SAR 397,358 as an expense in the profit or loss statement.

It added that no material impact is expected on its cash flows except for the accepted portion.

According to Argaam’s data, Sign World received on Nov. 24, 2025 an initial ruling in its favor from the General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees, canceling a decision of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) on collecting customs duty differences from the company under a tariff-classification item.
