US President Donald Trump said the United States is seriously considering withdrawing from NATO over allies' failure to join Iran war.

 

In an interview with The Telegraph, Trump stated that the US withdrawal from NATO is now irreversible, adding that he has long harbored doubts about the alliance's credibility, which he described as a "paper tiger."

 

When asked by the newspaper whether he would reconsider his country's membership in the alliance after the conflict ends, Trump replied: "Yes, I can confirm that it is irreversible."
