Occupancy in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities steady in Q4 2025
Hotel room occupancy in Saudi Arabia neared 57.3% in Q4 2025, up from 56% in Q4 2024, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.
Meanwhile, occupancy in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities remained steady at 55.9% year-on-year (YoY), according to GASTAT’s Tourism Establishments Statistics bulletin.

Room occupancy rates in Madinah hotels were the highest in Q4 2025, reaching 81.5%, followed by Riyadh at 67.6% and Makkah at 60.6%.
Riyadh led serviced apartments with an occupancy rate of 70.5%, followed by Najran and Eastern Province at 60% and 57.8%, respectively.

The average daily rate (ADR) for a hotel room in Saudi Arabia reached about SAR 389 during Q4 2025, a 12% decrease compared to Q4 2024.
However, the ADR for a room in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities amounted to approximately SAR 207 during the same quarter, up 6% year-on-year (YoY).

Of the total, 247,500 were Saudi nationals, representing 24%, while 783,100 were non-Saudis, accounting for the remaining 76%.
