Saudi Arabia SABIC lowers February MEG ACP by $70/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi Arabia’s SABIC has lowered its February nomination for monoethylene glycol (MEG) Asian Contract Price (ACP) to $880/tonne, down by $70/tonne from January, a company source said on Monday.


The ACP nomination is on a cost-and-freight (CFR) Asia basis.
 

On 12 January, spot MEG prices were mainly discussed at around 710-715/tonne CFR CMP (China Main Port), down by about $45/tonne from the previous month, according to ICIS data.


MEGlobal and Shell have yet to announce their February 2015 ACP nominations.
