SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi Arabia’s SABIC has lowered its February nomination for monoethylene glycol (MEG) Asian Contract Price (ACP) to $880/tonne, down by $70/tonne from January, a company source said on Monday.
The ACP nomination is on a cost-and-freight (CFR) Asia basis.
On 12 January, spot MEG prices were mainly discussed at around 710-715/tonne CFR CMP (China Main Port), down by about $45/tonne from the previous month, according to ICIS data.
