Metlife AIG approves SAR 53.8 mln insurance policy for ANB staff

Metlife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Co. (MetLife AIG) has approved the issuance of a health insurance policy for Arab National Bank (ANB) staff at an annual premium of SAR 53.8 million, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul on Thursday.

 

The policy, which is set to start on September 17, will remain active for a 12-month period, while the financial impact will be reflected on Q3-2015 statements.

 

Board member Robert Eid, who is a representative of the Arab National Bank has a direct interest in the policy, the statement said.

 

“The company hereby confirms that no preferential treatment was given on this policy and it is within the usual business activity of the company,” Metlife added.
