UAE’s du net profit falls 8% in FY15

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co. (du) has reported net earnings of AED 1.9 billion for fiscal year 2015, marking an eight percent decline year-on-year due to a hike in royalty charges, the telecom operator said in a statement to Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

Operating profit grew four percent to 3.86 billion during the period, while full-year revenue rose by 0.8 percent to AED 12.3 billion.  

The telco shares closed at AED 5.85 last session.
