Egypt's EFG Hermes and Denmark's Saxo Bank have inked a partnership agreement to launch EFG Hermes One, a new online trading platform, the banks said at a joint press conference in Dubai on Wednesday.

The deal enables full integration of Saxo Bank's SaxoTraderGO platform with EFG Hermes One, giving clients access to financial instruments in multiple MENA markets and global exchanges.

The platform will be available to investors across the region next month.

“The launch is the first step in a partnership that will see us expand our brokerage product offering...to new markets,” said EFG Hermes group CEO Karim Awad.

Cairo-based investment bank EFG Hermes specializes in asset management, securities brokerage, and research. The firm has direct presence in Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, and Kuwait, according to its website.
