City Cement 9M 2025 profit dips 6% to SAR 96.7M; Q3 at SAR 8.7M

City Cement Co. reported a net profit of SAR 96.7 million for the first nine months of 2025, a 6% drop from SAR 103 million in the year-earlier period.

The profit decline was mainly due to a lower average selling price. However, this was partly offset by higher sales amid increased sales volumes.

Compared to Q3 2024, when the bottom-line amounted to SAR 33.66 million, the company earned SAR 8.75 million (-74%). This was due to lower sales volumes and a decrease in the average selling price during the quarter.

 

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the three-month net earnings also slumped 76% from SAR 36.38 million in Q2 2025.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, reached SAR 1.80 billion as of Sept. 30, 2025, slightly up from SAR 1.75 billion a year earlier.
