Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) reported a net profit of SAR 93 million for the first quarter of 2025, a rise of 39% from SAR 67 million in the prior-year period.

The telecom operator recorded revenues of SAR 2.7 billion in Q1 2025, a rise of 6.1% from SAR 2.5 billion, driven by the growth in the consumer segment mainly from 5G and from TAMAM platform.
Zain KSA’s gross profit increased by SAR 40 million year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.58 billion on revenue growth. Similarly, EBITDA rose 5.2% YoY to SAR 813 million.
On the other hand, depreciation and amortization (D&A) increased by SAR 17 million YoY.
On a quarterly basis, net earnings dropped 66.1% from SAR 274 million in Q4 2024.
Shareholders' equity, no minority interest, amounted to SAR 10.7 billion as of March 31, 2025, compared to SAR 10.65 billion a year earlier.
