The company ascribed the lower losses to the recognition of non-recurring capital gains resulting from the sale of one of the company’s unused assets (a building). This improvement also reflects the company’s success in reducing operating and administrative expenses.
This comes despite the company recognizing an expected credit loss (ECL) provision of SAR 4 million, in accordance with the requirements of IFRS 9.
In Q4 2025, the company’s losses widened by 37.6% to SAR 25.35 million, versus SAR 18.42 million a year earlier.
Sequentially, the three-month losses also deepened 55.1% from SAR 16.34 million in Q3 2025.
