Astra Industrial Group posted a net profit of SAR 346.8 million in the first half of 2025, marking an increase from SAR 318.5 million a year earlier.

The profit increase is driven by a decrease in general and administrative expenses in the steel industry, an increase in gross profit in the pharmaceuticals segment and a decrease in financial costs in the specialty chemical segment.

 

The company noted that the similar period last year included a gain from discontinued operations.

Shareholders’ equity, excluding minority interest, stood at SAR 2.63 billion as of June 30, 2025, up from SAR 2.24 billion a year earlier.
