Fourth Milling Co. (MC4) reported a net profit of SAR 52.7 million for the first quarter of 2025, an 8% growth from SAR 48.6 million in the year-earlier period.

Revenue rose 2.8% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 170.1 million on product diversification strategy.

 

This was supported by a SAR 1.3 million increase in income from Shariah-compliant investment deposits and a positive impact of SAR 2.3 million from the reduction in deferred tax liabilities.

 

These gains were partially offset by a SAR 1.9 million increase in selling expenses and a SAR 0.9 million rise in general and administrative expenses during the current quarter.

 

On a sequential basis, Q1 net earnings jumped by 25.2%, from SAR 42.1 million.

 

Total shareholders’ equity (no minority equity) stood at SAR 706.75 million by the end of the current period, compared to SAR 717.76 million a year earlier.
