Sales increased due to strong same-store performance, which helped offset the negative impact of the Ramadan timing shift, currency devaluation in Egypt, and the absence of a leap year trading day.
This was also supported by the positive impact of management actions aimed at creating a more agile cost structure and better balance between variable and fixed costs, with continued focus on operational excellence and service improvement.
On a quarterly basis, Alamar swung to a loss from a net profit of SAR 20.68 million in Q4 2024.
Shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, reached SAR 284.66 million by March 31, 2025, compared to SAR 284.80 million in the prior-year period.
