The profit increase was driven by a decrease in financing expenses by 82.07% (SAR 443,000), due to the absence of outstanding loans. In addition, the improved administrative and operational efficiency led to a decline in general and administrative expenses by 13.05% (SAR 547,000).
On the other hand, revenues fell by 6.59% to SAR 29.37 million in H1 2025, compared to SAR 31.44 million a year earlier. This is due to the Tokyo restaurant’s branch on the Northern Ring Road in Riyadh being impacted by reduced footfall at the shopping mall where it operates, owing to the ongoing renovation works in the mall.
Sequentially, H1 2025 net profit fell 18% from SAR 4.81 million in H2 2024.
Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, rose to SAR 54.55 million by June 30, 2025, compared to SAR 47.88 million a year ago.
