Osool & Bakheet Investment Co. sustained a net loss of SAR 49.8 million in the first half of 2025, against a net profit of SAR 11.9 million in the prior-year period.

The losses were attributed to a decline in revenues as the company incurred unrealized losses of SAR 31.77 million from investments at fair value through profit/loss in the first half, against earnings of SAR 9.46 million in H1 2024.

 

The company also reported SAR 4.25 million in provisions for expected credit losses, as part of its sound risk management policy. Additionally, general and administrative expenses increased by SAR 1.29 million.

 

On the other hand, custody and operations management fees rose to SAR 1.07 million in H1 2025, compared to SAR 0.84 million for H1 2024.

 

Brokerage income increased to SAR 0.21 million in H1 2025, compared to SAR 0.13 million for the corresponding period of 2024.

 

New revenues from network and information systems management and monitoring services (through the subsidiary) amounted to SAR 0.79 million during the current period.

 

Total shareholders’ equity (no minority interest) reached SAR 182.96 million as of June 30, 2025, up from SAR 212.06 million a year earlier.
