The decline in profits was mainly due to the late completion of the advertising operations exclusivity in Riyadh under the contract for the development, operation, and maintenance of outdoor billboards.
This was further impacted by the non-completion of the advertising network, in addition to delays in the preparation and installation of Iconic billboards and digital zones associated with several contracts.
Profitability was also pressured by higher operating and financing costs associated with the company’s ongoing expansion of its advertising network.
In addition, general and administrative expenses increased due to one-off provisions for potential obligations, higher expected credit losses on financial assets, and rising financing costs related to funding strategic initiatives.
On the other hand, the company achieved strong revenue growth in 2025, with revenues rising from SAR 1.64 billion to SAR 1.95 billion, up 19% year-on-year (YoY).
In Q4 2025, Al Arabia’s net profit surged 458.8% to SAR 514.8 million from SAR 92.13 million a year earlier.
Sequentially, the company turned profitable against a net loss of SAR 218.3 million in Q3 2025.
