The losses were attributed to a 5% decline year-on-year (YoY) in revenues, mainly due to a lower rig utilization rate (75% versus 83%), partially offset by the full-year impact of revenues generated from unconventional drilling rigs and the new offshore service platform.

The lower utilization rate was partly mitigated by an increase in rig mobilization activities.
