This was primarily due to incurring SAR 6.5 million in additional provisions for doubtful debt in H1 2025. This is besides recognizing an 18% year-on-year (YoY) increase in general and administrative expenses, paired with an 87% YoY decline in the six-month investment income.
This was offset by a 24% YoY topline hike, paired with a 54% YoY uptick in gross profit and a 6% YoY decrease in selling and marketing expenses.
The Q2 2025 net losses widened by 94% to SAR 7.3 million, from SAR 3.77 million in Q2 2024.
On a sequential basis, the company swung to losses versus a net profit of SAR 122,000 in Q1 2025.
