The company attributed the loss to rising costs of revenue outpacing revenue growth, higher operating, administrative, and selling and distribution expenses linked to business expansion, and a slight increase in finance costs, which together eroded profit margins.
Conversely, revenue rose 39% year-on-year, primarily driven by a 184% surge in the contracting segment due to an increase in project volume, along with a 56% rise in precast concrete panel sales. Meanwhile, the ready-mix concrete segment declined slightly by 5%, and the cement sector by 4%; however, growth in the other sectors contributed to the overall increase in revenue.
