Raoom Trading Co. reported a net profit of SAR 2.3 million in the first half of 2025, down from SAR 28.3 million a year earlier.

Revenues decreased by 13.8% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 51.5 million for the current period, hurt by a fall in average selling prices of the company’s products due to lower market prices and a decline in sales volumes.

 

In addition, the firm recognized a loss from the revaluation of financial assets at fair value amounting to SAR 3 million, compared to a gain of SAR 14.8 million in the same period of the previous year.

The company turned to a loss of SAR 2.7 million in Q2 2025, against net earnings of SAR 4.36 million in Q2 2024, mainly due to a 9.7% YoY fall in revenues to SAR 24.2 million.

 

The company’s net earnings slumped 154.3% from SAR 5 million in Q1 2025.

 

Shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, stood at SAR 153.9 million as of June 30, 2025, compared to SAR 155.34 million a year earlier.
