This was attributed to lower sales volumes of the preform and the caps segments (tons), as well as a decline in selling prices for the two segments during the nine-month period on lower raw material costs.

In addition, the nine-month gross profit contracted on an annual basis, primarily due to a reduction in the cost of goods sold, particularly during Q1 2025.

The company also cited an increase in the allowance for impairment losses on trade receivables; losses on investments measured at fair value through profit or loss; and higher financing costs.

In Q3 2025, net earnings leapt 48.2% to SAR 6 million, from SAR 4.1 million in Q3 2024.

On a quarterly basis, the three-month net earnings soared from SAR 400,000 in Q2 2025.
