Yanbu Cement Co. reported a 38% drop in net profit to SAR 79.9 million in the first nine months of 2025, from SAR 129.2 million in the corresponding period of 2024.

The annual profit decline was due to a lower profit margin from local sales. This came amid a decrease in the average selling price and an increase in the cost of sales due to higher fuel costs, in addition to the lack of profit margins from export sales.

 

However, revenues witnessed an uptrend in the first nine months of this year.

The third-quarter net earnings fell 9% to SAR 28.4 million, from SAR 31.1 million in Q3 2024. This followed a pullback in the profit margin from local sales.

 

Sequentially, however, the three-month bottom line rose 31.2% from SAR 21.62 million in Q2 2025. This was attributed to increased other revenues and lower general and administrative expenses on a quarterly basis.

 

Total shareholders' equity, no minority interest, reached SAR 2.60 billion by Sept. 30, 2025, edging down from SAR 2.65 billion in the year-earlier perio
