Revenues increased by SAR 3.39 billion (23%) year-on-year (YoY), mainly due to higher commodity market prices for phosphate, aluminum and gold business units. Revenue was further increased due to higher sales volume for phosphate and aluminum business units. This increase in revenue was partially offset by lower sales volume for the gold business unit.

The company also cited higher sales prices and volumes. In addition, a higher share in net profit of joint ventures and an associate, reduced finance cost, as well as lower net Zakat, income tax and severance contributed positively to the H1 2025 earnings.

However, the company recorded higher operating expenses, including allowance for expected credit loss, lower finance income and the positive impact that one-off insurance claim of SAR 469 million had in the same period of the prior year.
