Gross profit rose by SAR 3.67 billion (52%) on improved selling prices and higher sales volumes. Revenues also grew by SAR 5.36 billion (24%) on 9M 2025.
The overall increase in revenue was primarily attributed to higher selling prices for products in the phosphate, aluminum, and gold business units, in addition to increased sales volumes in the phosphate and aluminum business units. Maaden said that the profit was also supported by higher share of profit from joint ventures and associates, lower financing costs (FCs), and a decline in Zakat, income tax, and royalty expenses.
These gains were partially offset by a slight decrease in gold sales volume, higher operating expenses (OpEx), lower finance income, and the absence of a one-off insurance claim of SAR 563 million recorded in the same period last year.
