The surge in the first-quarter net profit was driven by higher revenue due to increased dividend income, despite a decline in hotel revenues and other operating revenues.

Kingdom Holding also reported a rise in its share of results from equity-accounted investees, higher other gains, as well as lower Zakat and financial charges, besides reduced withholding tax and income tax expenses for the first three months of this year.

Moreover, general, administrative and marketing expenses also decreased on an annual basis during the same quarter.

On the other hand, the company recorded a drop in profits from sale of investment properties, finance income as well as lower hotel and other operating revenues in Q1 2025.

On a quarterly basis, the three-month net earnings spiked from SAR 69.52 million in Q4 2024, thanks to higher revenues and share of results from equity-accounted investees.

Total shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, rose to SAR 41.33 billion as of March 31, 2025, from SAR 37.06 billion a year earlier.
