The company attributed profit growth during the current period to a 10.33% rise in the insurance service result before re-takaful.
This was supported by improved performance in the health insurance segment, which turned into an insurance service surplus of SAR 18.5 million against a deficit of SAR 265.4 million in 2024, along with a protection and savings surplus of SAR 224.7 in 2025 compared to a surplus of SAR 134.2 million in 2024, while maintaining stable profitability levels in the motor insurance segment.
In addition, it reported a 120.46% increase in the insurance service result, driven by the performance of the health insurance segment and growth in the protection and savings business.
This came despite a 14.83% decline in net investment income, attributable to lower returns on SAIBOR-linked investments as well as weak equity market performance.
Also, total investment results include a loss of SAR 573.8 million in 2025 against a gain of SAR 352.7 million in 2024 related to fair value movements in unit holders’ fund investments.
Al Rajhi Takaful registered a 27.37% increase in operating expenses (OpEx), due to higher operating costs to support the digital transformation of insurance operations and IT systems.
