Saudi Real Estate Co. (Al Akaria) delivered a net profit of SAR 229.6 million in the first half of 2025, against a net loss of SAR 11.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The company’s revenues jumped 37.9% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.11 billion. This rise was spurred by a 527% YoY surge in revenues from real estate sakes, mainly due to divestment of non-core land plots.
Al Akaria also reported an increase in project completion rates and off-plan unit sales. Real estate rental income grew by 8% YoY, thanks to better occupancy rates and average rent per square meter.
Moreover, gross profit from property sales and rentals soared by 611% and 13% YoY, respectively.

In Q2 2025, the real estate developer swung to a net profit of SAR 94.4 million, from a net loss of SAR 14.2 million in Q2 2024 as topline increased by 27.9% YoY.
On a sequential basis, Al Akaria cut net losses by 30.2% from SAR 135.1 million in Q1 2025, hurt by a 22.1% drop quarter-on-quarter in revenues.
Total shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, came in at SAR 5.27 billion as of June 30, 2025, up from SAR 4.73 billion a year earlier.
