Petro Rabigh to halt ethane cracker for 20-day maintenance on March 1

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) will halt its ethane cracker for nearly 20 days, as of March 1, in order to carry out maintenance activities that will enhance the plant’s reliability.

 

In a Tadawul statement today, Feb 28, the petchem producer said this shutdown is poised to have an impact on its Q1 2023 financials.

 

Further developments will be announced in due course, the statement noted.
