State-owned Saudi Aramco starts trading on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) today, Dec. 11 with the symbol 2222, and a daily price fluctuation limit of ±10%.
The benchmark index will not be influenced by any rise or drop of Aramco’s shares in the first five days of trading.
To include Aramco in its all-share index (TASI) at the closing of the fifth trading day TASI, as this mechanism ensures a balanced price.
On Dec. 1, the main market updated its indices methodology for the development and management of Tadawul equity indices, Argaam reported.
Tadawul applied a new “fast entry” rule, under which shares of significantly massive IPOs join TASI at the close of the fifth trading day.
