What you need to know when Tadawul opens today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

1) Aseer Trading, Tourism and Manufacturing Co. narrowed net loss after Zakat and tax by 71% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 30 million for the fiscal year 2019.

2) Al Khaleej Training and Education Co.’s board of directors recommended a 2.5% cash dividend for FY2019, at SAR 0.25 per share, amounting to SAR 11.25 million.

3) Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. reported a net loss before Zakat of SAR 54.1 million for FY2019 from a net profit of SAR 16.3 million a year earlier.

4) Basic Chemical Industries Co.’s (BCI) board of directors recommended withholding cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2019.

5) Riyad Bank’s shareholders approved the board’s proposal for distributing a 5.5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.55 per share, for H2 2019.

6) Samba Financial Group’s shareholders approved the board’s recommendation to distribute a 7% cash dividend, or SAR 0.70 per share, for the second half of 2019.

7) Saudi Airlines Catering Co.’s shareholders are set to vote, on April 21, on delegating the company’s board of directors to distribute dividend for FY2020 on a semi-annual or a quarterly basis.

8) Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co.’s shareholders will discuss, on April 19, paying cash dividend at 7.5% of capital, or SAR 0.75 a share, for H2 2019.

9) The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) shareholders elected a new board of directors for the next 3-year term, started March 26, 2020.

10) Brent crude on Friday declined $1.41 to reach $24.93 per barrel. WTI Crude also decreased $1.09 to reach $21.51/bbl.
