Saudi Arabia records 1,975 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 1,975 to 93,157 as of Thursday, June 4, the Ministry of Health announced today.

Recoveries reached 806, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 68,965, representing 74% of total registered cases.

Thirty-two new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 611.

In addition, a total of 675 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Makkah (286), Jeddah (259), Madinah (124) and Al Hufof (112).

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 23,580 cases, of which 1,381 are critical.

A total of 16,246 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 887,210.
