The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) launched a comprehensive field survey for land and building uses, covering all areas located within the development protection boundaries, with an area of 5,960 square kilometers.

The RCRC explained in a statement today, Dec. 30, that the survey aims to monitor and record all plots of land, developed buildings, their areas, uses, and descriptions (use, types of buildings, conditions, number of floors, etc.).

The information will be used in planning, development, studies, and research, whether within the commission or in other entities in the city, from the government and private sectors, as well as researchers.

The step comes within the framework of the population growth that Riyadh city is witnessing, as well as the accelerated urban and economic development in all fields.

RCRC is keen to monitor and update such developments on an ongoing basis within the urban databases for the current conditions of the city through comprehensive studies of the lands and buildings uses, as well as their surveys.
