Saudi Arabia ranks 10th among G20 countries on UHC Index

Saudi Arabia has achieved progress in the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Index, as its coverage score rose from 74 points to 83 points, recording a jump of 9 points, showed the results of the 2025 report issued by the World Health Organization and the World Bank Group.

The Kingdom ranked tenth among G20 countries, underscoring the impact of Saudi Vision 2030 in improving access to basic healthcare services, expanding the scope of preventive and curative services, enhancing their quality, and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the world’s top-performing countries in the healthcare sector.

According to the Ministry of Health, this progress came thanks to improved access for beneficiaries to essential healthcare services, the expansion of preventive and treatment services, and enhancements in service quality, thus strengthening the Kingdom’s standing among the highest-performing countries in the global healthcare sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
