Logistics sector transports over 200M parcels annually as e-commerce accelerates

Rumaih Al-Rumaih, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, said the delivery sector exceeded one million orders per day in 2025.

 

The number of parcels transported surpassed 200 million annually, Al-Rumaih added during a session at the Supply Chains and Logistics Conference, noting that the e-commerce sector recorded growth of 30% to 40%.

 

Al-Rumaih also highlighted that the local content ratio in the transport sector rose by 47% in 2025.
