QFIs net buyers of SAR 4.8B stocks on TASI in January

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net purchasers of SAR 4.8 billion worth of shares on the Main Market (TASI) in January 2026, according to data issued by the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).

 

QFIs accounted for 39.02% of total buys and 34.22% of total sell trades during the month.

 

Saudi individuals recorded net sales of SAR 3 billion, with individual investors recording net sales of about SAR 1.61 billion.


Meanwhile, specialized individual investors recorded net sales of about SAR 1.2 billion, while managed portfolios recorded net sales of almost SAR 207 million. In contrast, individual investors registered net purchases of approximately SAR 21 million.

 

Saudi institutions, on the other hand, were net sellers of SAR 2.8 billion, driven by corporate sales of SAR 703 million, investment funds with net sales of SAR 1.67 million and SAR 634.6 million by government entities.
