Al Hammadi Holding Co. stated that the strategic cooperation agreement signed with Italy-based club AC Milan aim at building MilanLab’s sports medicine and rehabilitation centers inside Al Hammadi Group’s hospitals in Riyadh, as part of medical and scientific cooperation between the two sides.

This agreement represents the first expansion of MilanLab outside Milan, marking its first international launch into the Kingdom through Al Hammadi Hospitals Group, it said in a statement to Tadawul.

MilanLab is the club’s affiliated medical and research center, specializing in sports performance development, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, utilizing advanced technologies and treatment protocols based on the latest scientific research, it added.

The company also noted that the agreement covers the following areas: Medical and scientific cooperation, exchange of treatment protocols and medical best practices, development of sports medicine and rehabilitation services within Al Hammadi Hospitals, training and qualification of specialized Saudi professionals in this field, and organization of periodic visits by AC Milan’s doctors and experts to provide consultations and support to Al Hammadi Hospitals Group patients.

Additionally, Al Hammadi expects the agreement to have a positive financial impact on its future results due to the anticipated increase in demand for physiotherapy and sports medicine services at the centers to be operated under the agreement.

It further explained that the exclusive nature of the agreement also provides opportunities for future expansion across various regions of the Kingdom.

According to data available with Argaam, Al Hammadi signed, on Jan. 28, a SAR 54.5 million strategic cooperation agreement with AC Milan, under which the company and Al Hammadi Hospitals Group obtain exclusive rights as the official medical and rehabilitation partner of AC Milan in Saudi Arabia.
