SAMA names Ahmed Alshaikh as deputy governor

Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), the central bank, has appointed Ahmed bin Abdullah Alshaikh as deputy governor for supervision.

 

He started working in SAMA in 1991 as a banking supervisor, then was promoted to chief banking supervisor in 2009, before moving to work in the Capital Market Authority until 2016.
