Saudi Aramco aims to generate 9.5 GW of renewable energy by 2023

Saudi Aramco, the world’s state-run oil company, plans to produce 9.5 GW of renewable energy by 2023.

 

The company is adopting smart systems to decrease its power consumption at non-industrial facilities by 35 percent by 2020, while applying eco-friendly standards, executive director of energy systems Abdulkarim Al-Ghamdi said on the sidelines of a smart energy conference in Jeddah on Wednesday.
