Saudi Arabian Airlines, the kingdom's national carrier, said it will pay 100 percent of the costs of the insurance coverage provided for its employees, Al Watan newspaper has reported, citing unnamed sources.
The Saudi airline indicated that the medical health insurance agreement which it inked with the Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) will cover 40,000 employees and their families.
Also, the agreement will give these employees access to quality health care services through the wide network of hospitals and medical centers that Tawuniya has partnered with, according to earlier reports.
In January, Tawuniya signed a medical insurance deal with Saudi Airlines, effective March 1, 2017 to provide medical insurance services to the airline’s employees and their families for one year, Argaam reported.
