Saudi Arabia topped the 2021 Edelman Trust Barometer Spring.
Trust in Saudi government surged to 82% from 78% in January 2021.
The surge in trust occurred during the government’s swift response to curb the impact of the pandemic on citizens and residents, according to the 2021 Edelman Trust Barometer report.
More than 33,000 respondents from 28 countries participated in the survey.
China came in the second place, followed by the UAE and India.

According to the report, the government came on top as the most-trusted institution in Saudi Arabia (73%). It was followed by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) (61%) and media (60%).
