Oil tanks
Crude oil inventories in the United States rose by 1.33 million barrels during the week ended Nov. 10, the American Petroleum Institute (API) said in a recent report.
The reading was slightly below analysts’ expectations of an increase of 1.4 million barrels. The stockpiles led up 11.9 million barrels in the previous week, API said.
Gasoline stocks increased by 195,000 barrels, while distillate stocks decreased by 1.02 million barrels.
Brent crude for January delivery closed at $82.47 per barrel today, while WTI crude for December delivery settled at $78.26 per barrel.
