Riyadh Cables Group Factory
Bassam Naes, Marketing Director at Riyadh Cables Group Co., said the group exports its products to more than 37 countries, representing over 30% of local production.
He noted that the UAE serves as the main hub for the company's exports due to the ease of logistics procedures.
In an interview with CNBC Arabia, Naes added that the group is the world’s fourth-largest manufacturer in terms of production and the largest in the Middle East, with an annual output of around 265,000 tons, comprising both copper and aluminum.
Regarding the impact of tariffs and the trade war on the company’s business, Naes said all companies were affected. However, the group worked to absorb these changes and studied solutions to mitigate the negative effects.
According to Argaam data, Riyadh Cables CEO Borjan Sehovac previously said the company maintains a confirmed order book of 139,000 tons valued at SAR 5.2 billion — the highest in its history — which will support revenues over the next 12 to 18 months.
